Official Rules & Regulations

1.  Fill out the entry form and return to the following address by September 1, 2015.  Theme ideas will be accepted on a "first-come, first-serve" basis to avoid duplication.  You must adhere to your original theme, or petition for an alternative theme. 

2.  Your exhibit must be freestanding, sturdy and weatherproof in order to qualify for displaying and judging.  Consider the wind and rain when choosing and securing materials to your creation.  We strongly encourage you to visit the display during the weekend for a "check up" to ensure it is looking its best.  No business names and/or phone numbers may be used in the exhibit.

3.  "Fall into Avon" and The Olde Avon Village are not responsible for the security of the scarecrows on display. 

4.  Exhibits must be set up between 10 a.m. Friday, September 11, 2015 & 9 a.m. Saturday, September 12, 2015.  Please take care during set up and be respectful of the grounds and structures at the property.   Any damage to the site property is at your expense.  

5.  "Fall into Avon" reserves the right to take photos of the exhibits and use these photos for future promotion, without reimbursement to the designer(s).  Photographs become the property of the French Creek Development and French Creek Merchants' Associations.

6.  The exhibits may be held on display for public enjoyment through the end of the Fall season.  Your exhibit should be removed the first week of October.  Unclaimed exhibits will be discarded  

7.  The exhibits will be judged by an impartial third party.  You do not have to be present to win.  Prize winners will be announced at the Taste of Avon on Saturday of the event.
